Education Qualification
Must possess a B.E degree in Printing Technology or Must possess minimum general educational qualification as prescribed in the Schedule to Part II of the Tamil Nadu State and Subordinate Service Rules (Now brought under Tamil Nadu Government Servants (Conditions of Service) Act, 2016) and a diploma in Printing Technology (letter Press or Offset) or Must possess minimum general educational qualification as prescribed in the Schedule to Part II of the Tamil Nadu State and Subordinate Service Rules
(Now brought under Tamil Nadu Government Servants (Conditions of Service) Act, 2016) and a diploma in Printing Technology with any elective subject awarded under the revised integrated pattern of course.
Preferential Qualification
A pass in the examination in Typography or Lithography conducted by the City and Guilds Institute, London A pass in the examination in Costing by any Institute recognised by the Government of Tamil Nadu or by the Government of India. Completion of one year of Apprenticeship in the Printing Technology either under Government of India Scheme or under the government of Tamil Nadu Apprenticeship Scheme. A Degree from any University recognised by the University Grants Commission.
Application fee
Examination fee Rs. 125/- (Rupees One Hundred and Twenty Five only) is payable online through Net banking/Credit card /Debit card or it can be paid at State Bank of India/Indian Bank within 2 days on submission of application. Applicants have to register their basic particulars through One-Time Registration which is mandatory on payment of Rs.50/- towards registration fee. The registration shall be valid for a period of five years from the date of One-Time Registration.
